Homemade chicken nuggets
Pretty simple, season some buttermilk and add cut up chicken. Store in fridge for at least on hour. Shake in a bag of seasoned flour and then place in oil. My Great Grandma always salted after they come out of the oil, so I do that too.
She used milk instead of buttermilk, but I had leftover buttermilk I needed to use up. The buttermilk makes them crisper.
I grew up eating these so when I first had chikfila nuggets it was a nice to be reminded of my Gg. I save their sauces for when I make them at home.
