My body is craving all the veggies and lean protein after a fun gals weekend of šŸŒ®šŸ•šŸ·šŸ¹šŸ»šŸ«. Cod and asparagus hit the spot! Side note: if anyone has tips or tricks on how to NOT ruin everything every time I try to cook using my cast iron skillet, I’m all ears. This is one thing I just haven’t been able to get the hang of no matter how many times I try! Oh well, still delicious šŸ˜‹

  • We love our cast iron skillet but it does take some getting used to. My top tips are make sure you start with a properly seasoned pan (we bought flax seed oil for this); add enough oil to the pan when cooking; always preheat the pan on medium or max medium high and don’t add food to it until it’s preheated. They heat up slowly but then they stay hot so there’s not much need to use high heat, which can also cause food to stick. Hope this helps!
