Goulash (I think)

“Goulash is a soup or stew of meat and vegetables seasoned with paprika and other spices”

I simmered tomato paste, sauce, and diced tomatoes with water, garlic, bay leaves, and a medley of herbs. I wanted my veggies browned before adding them, but this could’ve totally been a one pot meal.

Brown onions, bell peppers, celery, carrots, and some more garlic, then add to the sauce.

I used ground pork and sausage for the meat, browned in the same pan, and then added to the sauce.

I did the zucchinis last because I’m just not comfortable with them and wasnt sure if they’d hold up for a long simmer.

Then I added noodles because I’m a sucker for noodles.

We love this and I’m glad we got to use up a lot of veggies

Well worth the antacid and benadryl
