I made my first cocktail!
It’s a lemon drop with a sugared lemon slice
2oz vodka
0.5oz triple sec
1oz fresh lemon juice
1oz lemon simple syrup
Sugar and salt rim
Candied lemon slice
I made the simple syrup by simmering equal parts sugar and water and 1/2 lemon juiced. I added lemon slices and simmered for 15 minutes while periodically dunking them. Then I took out the slices and put the simple syrup in the freezer to cool.
