Y’all, I made pasta from scratch for the first time!!

My biggest hardship was that I used seasalt and it kept tearing my pasta. Lesson learned for sure, but it turned out so so so so so so so so so good. I even woke up my husband from the dead of sleep to try it (night shift worker).
I needed to use the leftover sauce I made last night and I thought it might be good in a pasta dish. Just added some pancetta and peas. I hate peas, but I ate them all up. I’m just so happy!!
2 cups flour
0.5tbsp olive oil
0.5tsp sea salt (please break yours up and learn from me)
Mixed and kneaded, rested for 30+ minutes on the counter. I stored half in the fridge for later, but I used a manual pasta crank I won from an auction. They cooked in the salted water quick and were even delicious on their own!
My little babies, I’m just so proud of them. I’ve always been intimidated by making pasta from scratch and I’m glad I finally did it, it’s great!!
