Who says you can’t have a turkey burger for breakfast?!

One lesson learned through my years is that when you stick with traditional breakfast foods, you’re in for LOTS of simple carbs, sugar, fat, and not a whole lot of protein. While I do enjoy breakfast foods on occasion, I’ve found that high protein, high veggie breakfasts satisfy my hunger, give me more energy for the day, and keep my blood sugar and appetite stable, so I’m more likely to stay the course with healthy eating for the day.

I usually enjoy leftovers from the night before as a sort of “brunch, since I’ve found that my body really only needs 2 meals a day unless I’m super active. This also helps me cure my egg boredom, which I am DEFINITELY prone to.

Now I wanna hear from ya’ll… What’s YOUR favorite non-traditional breakfast?
