Sooo I tried my hand at vegan/veggie mac and cheese, and I’ve come to a conclusion. This impasta (pun intended) is pretty and technically tasty…it just doesn’t do it for me. Making healthier versions of foods is one of my hobbies, and I usually still really and truly enjoy the alternative. But this. I can not abide. I’m good with the Banza noodles, but I guess I just need the greasy, heavy, calorie and dairy bomb when it comes to the cheese. 🤷🏼‍♀️ To me, the real deal is a “worth it” food to eat every once in awhile even though it doesn’t make me feel great. As a side note, my boyfriend with a dairy allergy loved this stuff and couldn’t get enough. Who knows, you might love it too! (I don’t want to share the exact recipe I used in order to protect the innocent recipe blogger from my VERY biased opinion). What are your “worth it” foods?!
