Tips for making Slow Cooker Teriyaki Beef:

This recipe is incredibly easy to make, but here are some tips to ensure that it turns out perfectly every time:

  • Size: Although stew meat is already chunky, it’s still ideal to chop any larger pieces into smaller ones so that everything is around the same size.
  • Corn Starch Slurry: You can omit the slurry if you want, but it thickens the sauce, making it ideal for serving over rice, etc. Just prepare the slurry with cold water and give your slow cooker about thirty minutes to thicken the sauce.
  • Garnish: A dash of color and some freshness are added by the garnish. The green onion and sesame seeds counterbalance the thick, creamy, and wonderful sauce.
