Who doesn’t enjoy a delicious sloppy joe? Sloppy joes are popular among children, and mothers like how quick and simple they are to prepare. Of course, conventional sloppy joes made with ground beef and a hamburger bun are fantastic.
Packed with the typical beefy tomato flavors of a classic sloppy joe, this easy and filling dinner is a nightly staple and a terrific way to feed hungry kids during back-to-school!
These meatball subs essentially only require four ingredients: cheese, buns, sloppy joe sauce, and meatballs. Since it was one of those days, it’s really easy to use frozen, store-bought meatballs, but handmade meatballs will also work. Make sure to cook the meatballs thoroughly.
You can use any bun to make these subs. Although hot dog buns, sub buns, or even hamburger buns would work, we used bolillo rolls.
