Ingredients

Here is what you need to make this delicious Greek Chicken flatbread recipe:

  • 4–6 chicken breasts
  •  Half a lemon,
  • 1 tsp oregano,
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves,
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, and 1/2 tsp ground cumin.
  • Salt and pepper.

Ingredients for Flatbreads:

  • 300g plain flour
  • 50g butter
  • 180g milk
  • And a pinch of salt.

Ingredients for Tzatziki:⠀

  • 4 tbsp Natural Yogurt
  • 1/2 grated cucumber
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper.â €

Ingredients for Houmous:

  • 400 g drained chickpeas
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika, and 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • One smashed garlic clove.
  • Juice a half lemon.

 

Instructions: How to make Greek Chicken Flatbread?

  • Using a rolling pin, pound the chicken until it’s flat between two sheets of clingfilm.
  • Next, combine the marinade ingredients and generously cover the chicken.
  • Place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes and as long as three hours.
  • After that, heat the milk and butter together until the butter melts for the flatbreads.
  • To make a dough, stir in the flour and a small amount of salt. After covering, refrigerate for half an hour.
  • Mix the ingredients for Houmous in a blender. Transfer to a bowl.
  • Using your hands, squeeze out as much water from the cucumber and mix it with all the remaining ingredients for Tzatziki. Transfer to a bowl.
  • Cut the chicken breasts into strips and sear them on a hot skillet, griddle, or grill for three minutes on each side. Put away.
  • Form the flatbread dough into six balls, then flatten them with a rolling pin or your hands on a floured board. Place on a hot griddle or pan and cook for 2 minutes on each side.
  • Arrange everything onto a dish and serve!
