Bought some pork chops on sale and made two meals out of them.
1st set: seasoned porkchops on the castiron with red potatoes and brussle sprouts
2nd set: cut up pork chops marinated in Korean BBQ for 10 minutes before being fried in the castiron. Served with microwave rice and quickly cooked broccoli.
One of my friends and coworkers gifted me a cookbook for my birthday and I applied two things I learned from there: a 10 minute marinade can be better than an overnight marinade and you can fry things that are coated in marinade.
The second dish ended up being our new favorite way to mimic a pork dish that is our go to at one of our favorite restaurants in town.
I made the meat on my weekend and just made the sides the night of.
